
Attention Pilgrims
WE INTEND TO WALK THIS YEAR!
PLANNING FOR THIS YEAR'S WALK SATURDAY DECEMBER 10TH 2022 IS UNDERWAY.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING VERIFICATION OF COVID-19 VACCINATION TO BOARD THE BUS.
We have not yet decided on have the light super at the end.
We have made a change in the route-
We will not be stopping at the Nazarene Church.
We will continue beyond for a block
then turn right onto E. Elizabeth
then left onto Main St.
then left onto W Durham St to the back of College Hill Moravian Church for the candles and lanterns and a break.
We will then return to Main St and continue all the way to Central Church.

12:15 pm leave Nazareth Moravian Church
1:30 pm arrive at Trinity Luthern Church
2:45 pm arrive at First Baptist Church
4:15 pm arrive at College Hill Moravian Church
5:00 pm arrive at Central Moravian Church
5:30 pm arrive at Christ Church
AGAIN, IN ORDER NOT TO DISAPPOINT ANYONE, PLEASE HAVE YOU VACCINE VERIFICATION HANDY
We have decided to go ahead with a modified witness this year because of the Covid pandemic. We think that the most important part of the event is the walking witness along route 191 from Nazareth to Bethlehem.
We are requiring facemasks and proof of vaccination for the bus and the indoor parts of the walk.

Schedule
Pilgrimage participants meet at the parking lot at
529 E. Broad Street, Bethlehem before 10:45 AM.
Buses transport pilgrims to Nazareth Moravian Church on Center Square where the Pilgrimage begins.
The Pilgrimage follows PA 191. Persons join at any point along the way. Support vehicles assist those not able to walk the entire route.
Dress appropriately for the weather; pilgrims walk in sun, wind, rain or snow. Pilgrims arrive at Christ United Church of Christ, Market & Center Streets, Bethlehem, around 5:30 pm for a short closing gathering.

Walk the Road of Peace
The Pilgrimage began in 1960
as a Christian witness for peace.
We welcome all persons of any age to join
the Pilgrimage, symbolic of the journey of
Mary and Joseph.
During the 10 mile trek from Nazareth
to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania we seek to
reflect the non-violent life of Jesus Christ
and his truth of forgiving love.
Walk with your family and friends and
make new friends with others
who seek a more peaceful world.
